List of Animal Species

Do you know that there are thousands of different species of animals in the Animal Kingdom of this world? Scientists have grouped animals into classes to make it easier to study them. An animal class is made up of animals that are all alike in important ways. The six main classes of animals are mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods. Each of these classes have groups underneath. Below are common animal species.
